Where you will hunt
Territory
This area’s name is derived from the early San inhabitants’ word “Tsoro o tso” meaning the head of an elephant. This is still true to the region as it is home to large herds of elephants and in our opinion is the Tsholotsho concession currently the best area in Africa to hunt big elephant bulls. It shares a 47-mile unfenced border with the Hwange National Park. This huge area has fantastic potential for big tuskers as well as lions, leopard, buffalo and limited plains game. The concession is a CAMPFIRE area and we are particularly proud of the success story of this private/public partnership with the local community. We have several social responsibility programmes being funded by the revenue generated through the hunting safaris. The lodge consists of modern en-suite thatched canvas walled bungalows with all modern amenities such as Wi-Fi access. The dining and lounge area overlooks a fire pit from where one can view the waterhole.
