Ken and Crystal Watson were such fun. Crystal is a wonderful host and excellent cook. Ken hunts hard for your animal but loves to have fun while doing so. Their accommodations are rustic but very beautiful sitting on a quite lake. Our bears were nice bears but not huge. But because of our schedule we had to be there very early in the season so not Ken's fault. We enjoyed our time with them so much that we went back in August and spent a week fishing with them. I would recommend their outfit to anyone who wants to have a good time hunting with great people.

No issues

I shot a giant bull moose on my fourth day of hunting. I felt a little sad that I couldn't keep hunting with my guide. Great experience!

I really enjoyed sitting with the guides at dinner time and listening to their storytelling. Hiking all day in the most beautiful country I have seen. And of course harvesting a bull of a lifetime.

I have no complaints. I actually wanted to stay longer and just hangout with Ken and Crystal.

Excellent camp, lots of game. We took our family and had a fantastic time! Perfect if you love the outdoors. My wife took a very large bull moose!

Overall a great experience. Ken and Chrystal are a terrific team and they give 100% to make the hunt ejoyable and successful.

This is a real hunt and Ken worked harder to make it successful than I would have. He literally did not stop for lunch, we would leave at 10:00 AM in his truck and do the spot and stalk from the pickup, ATV and a little bit of walking if he thought the amount of sign indicated it was worth the time. Lunch was in the truck while driving to the next location. I give Ken all the credit for setting me up with a close shot (about 40 yards) and making the hunt successful.

The outhouse, I respect people's property so I would make the walk to the outhouse at night (100 - 125 feet) to use the bathroom. It's not convenient but it didn't stop me from booking another hunt with Ken.

Great Moose Hunt

Ken and Crystal couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. As soon as you arrive you feel like you have been friends for years. Accomodations were rugged, but very comfortable - perfect for a Moose hunt. Great evenings siting around the table talking about the days hunt ! Overall fantastic hunting experience!!

Excellent hunting experience

The Outfitters, Ken and Crystal have a great friendly camp and will do everything they can do to make this a memorable trip. Our guide Kelly was awesome, very friendly and very accommodating. Kelly has great eyesight and hearing for figuring out where old bull winkle is coming from. He, also, did a great job of calling. My hunting partner and I both shot good moose, mine on the eighth day and my buddy got his on the ninth. Our cabin was good, with a wood burning stove for heat. Opatcho Lake was literally a few feet from the cabin door. Extremely quiet and a great place to stay. Make sure Ken gives you very detailed driving instructions. It is a bit off the beaten path.

Make sure you take some great Water Proof rain gear. Even if it does not rain the brush you go through will be extremely wet first thing in the morning.

I have been on about 15 moose hunts over the years with various outfitters. This September will be my fourth trip with them. They are the best.

Facilities and equipment are well maintained. Food is excellent. And, the guides I have had are safe and experienced. Ken and Crystal (owners) go to great effort to make all of their hunters comfortable. And, their success rate is as good as any.

Ken and Crystal are awesome people that do their very best to make you feel at home and be successful in your hunt. Great accommodations and meals. Well experienced guides especially Ken! I am picky about who I hunt with but I enjoyed hunting with each guide I spent time with. The topography was relatively gentle sloped. The cabins, hot shower daily and great meals in the lodge were wonderful.

This is tough! In my experiences, I did not see an abundance of bulls, although I was successful on two out of three hunts. My unsuccessful hunt was a terrible weather late season hunting experience. I didn't like devil's club and the black flies that fed upon me in during a unusually warm pre rut hunt.

Great hunt and great experience!

My first time to hunt moose, and first time to hunt in BC. Enjoyed EVERY MINUTE OF IT! Ken and Crystal are wonderful hosts, and Crystal's home cooking, the camp, cabins, vehicles, guides, EVERYTHING was excellent. I really had no idea how GOOD moose meat is. I used the butcher in Prince George that Ken recommended, (also excellent) and drove back home with all the meat, cut, wrapped, and frozen. EXCELLENT!

Loads of Experience

I have been hunting moose with Ken since 1991. Always a good time, always great scenery, always interesting ways to get on game. We see wolf, black and grizzly bear, lynx, and deer on our hunts as well. We have come home with spectacular moose, good moose, small moose, and a very few times, no moose. Still, it is hunting, and there are no guarantees. The food and hospitality are excellent, the accommodations are dry, comfortable and warm. The ability to shower and clean up at camp make the trip enjoyable as well.

Ken and Crystal really made the experience we will not forget. Had to work to score but Ken never gave up even when faced with difficult conditions.

Professional, friendly and great hospitality. I will never forget our barefooted bear hunt. I will always remember when we after the hunt "walked the dogs" by kayaking around the lake. The camp and the food were excellent and if you come here stay some extra minutes at the outhouse and do some reading. The signs on the walls are very entertaining.

Late October moose hunt

Ken and Crystal are two of the nicest people you will meet. They are great hosts, the facilities are amazing and feel like home. Ken worked hard to get us our moose, we filed 1 of 2 tags. I am to blame for not getting the second tag filed. The country is beautiful and shows lots of sign of big moose there. I would go back in a heartbeat if I could afford to go every year.

I was disappointed I only had the one chance at a moose but that's hunting and sometimes you don't get to bring meat home.

Great Experience-

#1 I enjoyed Kens company, so well I took my entire family up to fish with him. He is very entertaining. He has a huge area and knows it well. There is no shortage of bears and we experienced numerous stalks, some for experience, some to evaluate for size. I dislike hunting over bait, so this was perfect for me.

I disliked the hunt being over.

Great hunt, going again this year.

Loved hunting with Ken and Crystal, lots of laughs, lots of bears, and plenty of opportunity, which is important for a bowhunter. The accommodations were beautiful, food was great, and I'm going back in May 2017.

Ken and Crystal were attentive to our every need. The are true professional's and are kind, fun to be around. There lodge is very comfortable and Crystal is a great cook. I bagged a nice big bull moose on the 7th day of my 10 day hunt.

I enjoyed every aspect of this my first moose hunt.

No horses for me, reasonable hiking. Lots of sign and 2 hunters able to shoot large Moose ,mine was average but came to calls and very exciting.
