About this hunt
This is the best destination in West Uruguay to combine dove hunting and Dorado & Wolf fish fishing. Day 1: Arrive to Buenos Aires (Bring NO guns) or Montevideo Airport (Can bring your own guns) where our team will pick up the group and drive to the lodge. Lunch on the way and will arrive with time to have an afternoon shoot. After the shoot, unpack, rest, drinks and dinner. Swimming pool will be a good option. Day 2, 3, 4, 5: Next 3 days will have a 7.00 am call for breakfast with fresh baked breads, eggs, bacon, fruit and coffee to be ready for the following options. Option 1: shoot doves all trip and fish few to none in the boat ramp with live bait. Option 2: We will fish the morning, 2 anglers per boat & guide. Return to lodge, 12.30 have the lunch, "siesta" and head to shoot the doves from 4.30 to the end of the evening. Other days will be the opposite: shooting in the morning and fishing in the afternoon. Option 3: All day dove shoot with asado in the field for a 4 cases a day as a normal day. Late evening we can fish from the boat or close to it using cut or live bait, will give a lots of fish and fun. Box pigeon shoot can be accommodated as the group likes at any of the 3 options. Day 6: Last morning in all options we will have a half day dove shoot, lunch and depart to Airport to catch flight home. All group will have the same activity at the same time. If any chance we may split group in 2 and have different activities, not an obligation.

1000 shells a day plus 6 fish (average for a combo day) guaranteed. 2000 shells a day just for a hunting day has been very usual last season. 12-15 fish day for a full day fishing (record size was caught in 2014, 26 pounds on the fly).

Where you will stay
Hunting Lodge
Our lodge is an 8,000 square feet building, made out of stone & wood walls, and red tile roof. It is located over the hill at the Rio Negro banks. All of the 8 bedrooms have a wonderful view to the river banks, the living room and dining room, with floor to ceiling glass windows, gives you the sensation of living inside the river, you can see when fish feed, doves and pigeons fly, water level and wind before going fishing or hunting. The lodge accommodates 16 people in double occupancy or 8 in single rooms. All the rooms are suite style, have individual air conditioning, radiant heated floor, safe and all the privacy a modern building can offer, while retaining the rustic style of the lodge. A large staff of maids, chefs and barbecue cooks, assures that you will be comfortable and that meals are a full guaranty of gaining some pounds every trip. Our chefs stay hours in the detail of every part of the meal to be "home and hand " chopped and cooked.

Airport transfer can be arranged for clients by our team from Ezeiza, Argentina or from Montevideo, Uruguay. Charter Flight to our own 3300 feet dirt air strip can be arranged legal runaway for medium plans (eMBRAER BANDEIRANTE at most).

Top notch Uruguay experience
This is a very beautiful Lodge, well organized and a great experience. Very attentive staff.
Beware
We did not stay in the Ninette Lodge but got bumped to another Estancia next door which was older and not as nice but we had the place to ourselves which we liked and the staff was very good there. Food was good. The lodge mgr was great. The bird boys were pretty good except for dealing with weapon malfunctions. Despite the various issues our group enjoyed their time together there. We stayed on the ranch property the whole time.
Not sure where to start. Was told transfer from BA was 4 hrs but turned into 7 hrs to get there and 5 hrs on way back. Not a pleasant ride with no water, drinks or snacks. Drivers talked continuously the entire ride, very annoying. Return trip driver made us nervous the way he drove in BA. Everyone had constant problems with the shotguns...autoloaders jamming and O&U miss firing on lower barrel. Not a lot of birds around and fishing poor due to drought. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with trying to arrange this hunt for a group of four. Lack of timely communication and feedback. Always had to ask for info and chase people for info. Luckily our group are easy going older guys and did not have high expectations.
